We recently welcomed Louise Chapman to our Learning and Development team. Over the coming months Louise will be developing a new proposition for Marshall Centre focussed around Leadership and professional development, complementing our existing offering. She’ll be working closely with the team to help us develop innovative propositions, which enable our customers to achieve their desired outcomes.
Louise has more than 14 years of expertise in the L&D field, previously working for well-respected companies like BNP Paribas, BGL, Envigo and British Sugar.
“I’ve always been passionate about developing people, I’m really looking forward to working with our teams and customers to help them realise people’s potential.”
Some of her key achievements are developing an academy for aspiring team leaders, creating a talent development programme for high performers, supporting the implementation of employee performance systems, creating toolkits to build effective teams and designing virtual workshops to help employees embrace the changes throughout the pandemic.
Since she joined us she’s been busy getting to know the team and learning more about the Marshalls Centre.
“I’ve been in the business for a month now and I’m really enjoying my new role. Starting in the middle of a pandemic and home-schooling has been challenging as I’ve only been able to speak with colleagues remotely, but I’ve already had the opportunity to get involved in new projects. I also took part in an escape room last week so I was able to get to know more colleagues around the business.”
Already she has got stuck in and completed our two-day Mental Health First Aider course, as well as attending a training programme on creating engaging virtual training.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, music festivals and sunny holidays (which she is sorely missing!).
